Red Bull team boss Christian Horner has vowed to "retain and defend" both titles as he team launched their stepped nose RB8 online on Monday.
Red Bull, who dominated the Formula One race tracks last season as Sebastian Vettel stormed to his second successive Drivers' title and broke the record for most pole positions in one season, have taken the covers off their latest Adrian Newey-designed machine.
The car looks very similar to last year's RB7 with the most notable changes behind the stepped nose, which is proving to be very common with this year's cars, and the exhaust system.
But while there are changes to the car, Horner is hoping there won't be any to the results as Red Bull look to improve on last year's supremacy.
"The team's goals are quite simple: to try and retain and defend both titles in the manner in which we achieved them in," said Horner.
Of course when you achieve what we have in 2011, we've set a particular high standard for ourselves but we are always looking to improve. We are always looking in all areas to try do better.
"We cannot control what our opponents do. We are up against some formidable opponents but we can only really focus on ourselves.
"Only when we get to Melbourne will we truly know where we sit compared to our rivals."
Speaking about the secret to Red Bull's success, he added: "The main reason for our achievements is team work.
"It's quite simply the group of people here at Red Bull working as one unit. That's obviously taken some time to evolve but it has evolved quickly.
"And given the four World titles that we've won in only seven seasons of competitions is something we are fiercely proud of and are determined to add to.
